Episode 116 In Which I Do a Mystery Quilt Jan 25 2013

In this very short episode, I explain my recent absence from the airwaves, have a very confused time-space continuum experience, talk briefly about some creativity exercises I'm doing, then basically bag it for the night. Jaye was gracious enough to take time out of her busy holiday schedule to talk with us once again about a design element that, frankly, I think is one of my favorites: negative space. She describes what negative space is and how to harness its power for good.

As I post this episode, the wind is starting to whip and my windowpanes are rattling with the rain. Yes, Hurricane Sandy is starting to move into my area, so I decided to post an episode quick quick before I lose power like so many of my eastern buddies have now done. The good news is, I finally made some progress on quilt projects! The bad news is, it could all come screeching to a halt depending on what happens in the next 24 hours storm-wise. And now I'd best get back to my sewing machine while I can still run it...
