Wednesday May 01, 2013
Wednesday May 01, 2013
Honey, I'm home! I'm back from AQS QuiltWeek in Paducah, KY, and lived to tell about it. More or less. In this episode, I describe my experiences in Paducah, including a meet-up with a listener, scalping tickets to a class, and a conversation with a very nice police officer. Oh, and quilts. Plus I announce the winners of my 3rd Podcastaversary Giveaway, and what's up for the next episode! Thanks for listening!

Sunday Sep 09, 2012
Turns out AJ and I were taking the same Craftsy class at the same time! So I thought it would be fun for the two of us to talk, compare notes, and make suggestions of things we had learned along the way. Also included: Listener Feedback, Announcements, and a little bit of a Sandy Update.
In this episode:
AJ's blog post on her Stitch n' Slash finish: http://iknitnquilt2.blogspot.com/2012/07/too-many-projects.html
And her blog post on her Stupendous Stitching and BOM finishes: http://iknitnquilt2.blogspot.com/2012/07/happy-4th-of-july.html

Episode 50: In Which We Do Some Thread-Painting May 21 2011
Saturday May 21, 2011
Saturday May 21, 2011
Welcome to episode 50 (50! Can you believe it?) and a fantastic interview with fiber artist Lauren Sgranfetto about thread-painting. Lauren taught the thread-painting class at my guild quilt retreat and she agreed to sit down with me to allow me to share the wealth with you through an interview!
You may contact Lauren directly at lsgranfetto@roadrunner.com.
Lauren also talks about her upcoming fundraising event for animal rescue, Whiskerfest. Sounds like a fun time and it's definitely a great cause, so if you're within driving distance of Western NY, you should head on over!

Episode 017: In Which I Save a Quilt from Almost Certain Destruction
Friday Jul 02, 2010
Friday Jul 02, 2010
Have you ever had a quilt that just works your very last nerve from beginning to end of the project? Listen in as I spin my own tale of woe and redemption! In this episode, I describe a quilt that I made and experienced several junctures at which I hit a wall--then how I turned those walls into design opportunities.
